Artisan Dutch Oven Semolina Bread

This crusty bread made from semolina flour is one of my favorite breads to bake at home. This no-knead bread is very easy to make and therefore beginner friendly.

Prepare the Yeast

Mix yeast, sugar, salt and lukewarm water. Stir until yeast is dissolved and let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.

Bring it all together

Mix semolina flour, all-purpose flour and the yeast. Knead until you have a smooth dough.

Rest

Let the semolina bread dough rest at a warm place for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.

Stretch and Fold

Stretch and fold into shape. place in a parchm. paper lined bowl. Proof for 30 minutes, preheat oven to 480℉.

Bake

Place the loaf in the dutch oven. Bake for 30 minutes with lid closed, then remove lid and bake for another 10 minutes.

Cool Down

Let your semolina bread cool down before you slice it. ENJOY!
